We are a growing oil and gas equipment sales and services company based in Shreveport, Louisiana, seeking a hands-on Controller to lead our day-to-day accounting operations. This role reports directly to the CEO/CFO and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Position Summary:

The Controller is responsible for managing all aspects of the company's accounting and financial reporting functions. This individual will ensure accurate and timely financial statements, maintain strong internal controls, and support overall business operations. This position is designed as a growth role with a path to CFO for the right candidate, offering increasing responsibility in financial strategy, leadership, and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Coordinate with external accountants and auditors Maintain and improve accounting systems and internal controls Partner with leadership on financial insights and business performance

Qualifications:

3-5 years of accounting experience (oil & gas or industrial experience a plus) Proficiency in QuickBooks (Required) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Required) Working knowledge of GAAP Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
