The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Finance to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will shape our financial strategy, optimize resource allocation, and foster a culture of fiscal responsibility. The ideal candidate is an energetic leader with extensive experience in financial management, a deep understanding of industry regulations, and a passion for strategic development. What You'll Do Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to promote growth and stability. Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Manage all aspects of corporate accounting, including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and treasury management. Lead the design and development of financial projection models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements across governmental accounting standards and industry-specific regulations such as ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and risk management protocols. Direct risk analysis initiatives to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies. Oversee budgeting processes, cost control measures, and financial operations to maximize profitability while maintaining fiscal discipline. Manage the finance team by providing leadership, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in financial practices. Collaborate with business development teams to evaluate investment opportunities, manage financial markets insights, and support revenue growth initiatives. Utilize data analytics tools for detailed financial analysis and reporting to inform executive decision-making. What You Bring Extensive experience with IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS, GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) within a healthcare system. Proven expertise in corporate finance, risk analysis, treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Strong knowledge of governmental accounting standards and non-profit accounting practices where applicable. Technical proficiency in financial software systems, Excel data analysis tools, and advanced data analytics platforms. Demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models including revenue management, profit & loss analysis, cash flow projections, and investment evaluations. Excellent leadership skills with experience managing finance teams in fast-paced environments; strategic management capabilities are essential. Deep understanding of industry-specific financial concepts such as ASC 606 compliance and revenue recognition principles. Exceptional skills in financial report writing, interpretation of complex data sets, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting. Strong communication skills to clearly articulate financial insights to stakeholders at all levels; ability to translate technical information into actionable strategies.
