Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on financial leader with strong manufacturing industry expertise, deep knowledge of financial controls, and experience supporting operational decision-making in a fast-paced environment. NetSuite experience is required, and CPA and Adaptive Planning experience are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support business objectives. Develop and maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance and accuracy across financial reporting. Partner with operations and executive leadership to provide financial analysis, cost accounting insights, and strategic recommendations. Monitor inventory, standard costing, variance analysis, and other key manufacturing finance metrics. Lead cash management, audit support, and tax coordination activities. Supervise and mentor accounting staff while driving process improvements and system efficiencies. Support system optimization and reporting enhancements within NetSuite and, ideally, Adaptive Planning.
Requirements Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership experience in the manufacturing industry.
