Controller

Controller is responsible for managing the financial operations, reporting, and internal controls of all locations. This role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with policies, and supports strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Ensure accurate general ledger entries and oversee account reconciliations. Monitor cash flow, inventory costs, and store profitability. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and minimize loss. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Oversee inventory audits and cycle counts to reduce shrinkage and discrepancies. Partner with store management to drive financial performance and efficiency. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data. Support pricing, margin analysis, and promotional effectiveness studies. Supervise accounting or administrative staff at the store level. Liaise with corporate finance, audit, and operations teams. Train store staff on financial procedures and internal controls as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred). 3-5 years of experience in retail accounting, financial control, or similar roles. Experience with POS systems, ERP software, and financial reporting tools. Strong understanding of retail operations and cost controls. Proficient in Excel and financial analysis tools. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Compensation:
