Back Assistant Controller Assistant Controller Fiskdale , Massachusetts Perm 100000 Oct 28, 2026 $100000.00 - $120000.00 KBW Financial has partnered with a high tech manufacturer in the Soutbridge, MA area to identify an Assistant Controller. This role will be responsible for the GL and day to day accounting, treasury, cost accounting, and budgeting. Clear path for growth to the Controller role. The company requires 4 days per week in office.

Additional details include:

• Oversee the company's accounting function and manage a small team
• Manage day-to-day accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoice/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, inventory, fixed assets, and cost accounting
• Manage reporting for the Executive Team and the Board of Directors
• Ensure internal controls are in place and GAAP compliant
• Provide analysis for financial trends
• Provide recommendations to enhance financial performance and opportunities
• Manage outside audit firm, banks, and insurance and payroll service providers
• Coordinate the annual income tax filing process with the outside tax firm
• Coordinate state and local sales and payroll tax laws Qualifications
• BS in Accounting, Finance or related
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Working knowledge of Federal Government contracts
• US GAAP experience
• Knowledge of IFRS a plus
• System optimization experience
• Experience supporting audits and tax
• Manufacturing experience including cost and inventory
