This role will guide high-level financial planning, support executive decision-making, and strengthen overall fiscal performance through thoughtful analysis and oversight. The ideal candidate brings a strong command of budgeting, reporting, and financial controls, along with the ability to manage critical priorities in a dynamic field services environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead financial strategy by evaluating business performance, identifying trends in revenue, and advising leadership on actions that support sustainable growth. Oversee long-range budgeting and forecasting activities to help align financial plans with operational goals and future business needs. Direct the preparation, review, and ongoing management of balance sheet activity, profit and loss results, and related financial reporting. Monitor utilization metrics and other key performance indicators to improve visibility into operational efficiency and financial outcomes. Provide executive-level guidance on financial matters, translating complex data into clear recommendations for strategic decisions. Coordinate audit readiness efforts and support the successful execution of financial audit activities through accurate documentation and process oversight. Manage finance-related implementation work as needed, ensuring business requirements, timelines, and controls are properly addressed. Partner with the Director of Finance on special projects and emerging priorities, delivering responsive support across ad hoc financial initiatives. Demonstrated experience serving in a senior finance leadership role such as Controller or a comparable position. Strong background in financial audits, including preparation, coordination, and compliance support. Proven ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning initiatives. Expertise in reviewing revenue performance, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and management reports. Experience with financial systems implementation or large-scale finance process initiatives. Advanced analytical and decision-support skills with the ability to provide practical recommendations to leadership. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across executive and finance teams.
