Controller

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Annapolis, Maryland. This position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, with deep expertise in Yardi software and a thorough understanding of Affordable Housing complexities. You will play a pivotal role in financial reconciliation, reporting, and system optimization while collaborating with a skilled team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed reconciliation of tenant ledgers and bank accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Generate precise financial reports using Yardi software.
• Assist in the adoption and implementation of Yardi's latest user interface and workflows.
• Collaborate closely with both internal and external Yardi consultants to optimize system functionality.
• Provide expert-level accounting support to maintain financial integrity.
• Evaluate and improve existing financial processes where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with Affordable Housing regulations in financial management.
• Offer guidance and support to the team on Yardi-related tasks.
