Requirements:

Accounting, Job Costing, Forecasting, QuickBooks/QBO, Financial Data, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Tax, and Sales & Use Tax Position Overview The Controller will oversee all financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This role is crucial in providing insights that drive strategic decisions and support the overall financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets Develop and enforce internal financial controls and policies Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances Monitor job costing and ensure accuracy in project financials Assist in the preparation of the annual audit and liaise with external auditors Oversee the implementation and use of accounting software such as QuickBooks Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA certification preferred Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations Experience with financial forecasting and analysis Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with 3% company contribution Profit sharing plan 4 weeks of PTO + 6 paid holidays Monthly phone allowance For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
