You'll work directly with the President and leadership team, influencing decisions that affect every area of the business—from profitability and cash flow to operational efficiency and long-term growth. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll both lead and execute. You'll be expected to build strong financial processes while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day financial operations of the business. What You'll Help Lead As our Strategic Financial Leader, you'll partner with leadership to: Improve profitability through financial analysis and business insight Develop meaningful KPIs and performance dashboards Strengthen budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Improve job costing and gross margin reporting Support strategic planning and long-range business decisions Identify operational efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities Develop scalable accounting systems and internal controls Provide decision support for pricing, staffing, investments, and growth initiatives Lead the accounting function while serving as a trusted business partner across the organization What Success Looks Like During Your First Year Within your first year, you'll have helped us achieve measurable improvements such as: Faster and more accurate month-end financial close Improved visibility into job costing and gross margins Better KPI reporting for leadership and operations More reliable cash flow forecasting Stronger internal controls and accounting processes Actionable financial insights that improve business performance Trusted partnership with leadership in making strategic decisions What We're Looking For We're searching for a business leader who happens to be an outstanding accountant.

The ideal candidate will have:

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Five or more years of progressive financial leadership experience Experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Director of Finance, or similar leadership role Experience in construction, home services, contracting, manufacturing, or another project-based business Strong business judgment and analytical thinking Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A collaborative leadership style with a passion for continuous improvement The ability to translate financial information into practical business decisions CPA certification is welcomed but not required. More important than any specific software platform is your ability to build systems, lead people, solve problems, and help the business make better decisions. Compensation & Benefits Salary:

$100,000+ annually , depending on experience and qualifications.
