Responsible for all financial operations, including budgeting, reporting and forecasting; account reconciliation and analysis; daily cash management; credit and collections. Identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement. Maintain accounting and financial records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and other reports as needed. Inventory management, including accuracy of records, inventory level optimization and physical inventories Oversee General Ledger, Purchasing, Payroll and Timekeeping, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory functions. Directly manage 3-5 employees across accounting, purchasing and office administration Coordinate the accurate and timely completion of Federal and State reporting requirements, including income, property, sales and use, payroll and other local taxes, and other reports as required. Prepare year-end adjustments and work papers; coordinate with outside CPA for annual compilation statements and tax returns. Develop and maintain adequate internal controls to safeguard company assets Involved in review, selection and implementation of 401(k), health insurance and other employee benefits, and oversee day-to-day administration of the programs. Involved in review, selection and implementation of company's general insurance program, including general, auto, work comp and other specialty policies, and oversee claims management. Monitor and maintain compliance with governmental regulations for employee relations. Develop, communicate and monitor compliance with company's policies and procedures Support company's overall IT infrastructure. Review customer contracts, purchase orders and bid documents for executive signature.Core Competencies:
