- Manage the daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes; prepare accurate financial statements.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for leadership review.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies.
- Maintain internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial reporting accuracy.
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and external financial reviews.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure professional development and accountability. Core Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or Controller-level responsibility.
- Strong technical accounting skills and working knowledge of GAAP.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage preferred).
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
