  • Manage the daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes; prepare accurate financial statements.
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for leadership review.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies.
  • Maintain internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial reporting accuracy.
  • Coordinate audits, tax filings, and external financial reviews.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure professional development and accountability. Core Competencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or Controller-level responsibility.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and working knowledge of GAAP.
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage preferred).
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Location:
Edwardsburg, MI Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday (on-site with potential hybrid flexibility)
Compensation:
