Job Description
Hours:
FT 40-45
hours per week Must be available to work weekends, weekdays, holidays $75,000-$85,000 per year. The Assistant Controller will collaborate with accounting leadership in the overall financial record keeping for the Bavarian Inn Lodge, and its affiliated entities. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for the effective supervision of the members of the accounting department and ensures that their daily routines are performed with integrity. Work with the Controller on the timely preparation of the financial statements, and reports required by governmental agencies. Ensures timeliness of various accounting functions to provide timely, monthly & quarterly report. Is knowledgeable in all job functions performed within the Accounting Department and must be able to step in and perform the job in the absence of a clerk.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible accounting management experience in a supervisory or leadership role Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft applications. Intermediate level Excel required. Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to direct and motivate staffSimilar remote jobs
