Turn project and financial data into clear insights—job cost and earned revenue performance, over/under billings, change orders, contingencies, and risk/opportunity trends. Prepare monthly management reporting packages and KPI analysis (gross margin, backlog, cash trends, working capital metrics, and more). Support consolidation and intercompany/joint venture reporting as needed; help ensure consistent accounting policies across entities/branches. Be a go-to technical partner—support accounting staff and project teams on policy application and reporting questions. Play a major role in annual audit preparation and external auditor requests; maintain clean support schedules and an excellent audit trail. Provide tax return support (workpapers, schedules, and advisor requests) and assist with year-end planning analysis. Improve close and reporting processes through better standard workpapers, and automation. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required). 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in construction accounting (required). Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and internal controls. Hands-on WIP and job-cost reporting experience, including percent complete and cost-to-complete review. Audit readiness mindset—organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating schedules and responding to requests. Ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance partners and to coach/mentor others. The O-A-K Advantage We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including but not limited to salary, 401(k) profit sharing, paid time off, health insurance . You'll work with a close‑knit, supportive team in a low‑turnover culture where people genuinely enjoy what they do. Our size and values mean your contributions are recognized, your work makes a real impact in the communities we serve, and no two days are the same thanks to a variety of engaging, cross‑departmental tasks.
