Job Description

Our client is a high-growth, scaling organization seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Corporate Controller to lead its accounting function and help build the financial infrastructure needed to support continued growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoys bringing structure, process, and scalability to a growing organization. The Corporate Controller will have significant visibility with senior leadership and will play a key role in strengthening the accounting function, improving reporting, and providing the financial insight needed to support strategic decision-making.

Corporate Controller ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial informationOversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, continuously improving the speed and accuracy of financial reportingPrepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reporting packagesEstablish and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and processes as the organization scalesLead the development of a scalable accounting infrastructure capable of supporting continued growthOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, cash management, and other core accounting functionsManage and develop the accounting team, providing coaching, mentorship, and clear expectations for performancePartner closely with executive leadership and operational teams to provide financial insight and support business decisionsLead the annual budgeting and forecasting process in partnership with the CFO and senior leadershipMonitor cash flow, working capital, and key financial metrics to support the organization's growth objectivesProvide meaningful analysis and reporting to help leadership understand business performance and identify opportunities for improvementCoordinate the annual audit, tax filings, and relationships with external accounting, tax, and financial partnersEnsure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirementsEvaluate and implement improvements to accounting systems, technology, and reporting toolsIdentify opportunities for automation and process improvement to increase efficiency and scalabilitySupport special projects, acquisitions, new business initiatives, and other strategic priorities as the company continues to growFor immediate consideration call Jimmy Tunney at 517-657-8054
