Job Description
A great UHY client is seeking a Business Unit Controller to join their finance team in Troy, MI. This role will play a key role in commercial finance, forecasting, and strategic decision support for the business unit. The Business Unit Controller role is an onsite position in Troy, MI. This is a client direct hire position. Business Unit Controller Responsibilities Support commercial finance activities including forecasting, financial modeling, and program financial analysis Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to evaluate program profitability and financial performance Lead financial forecasting and provide insights to support business decision-making Develop financial models to support new business opportunities and strategic initiatives Support costing and quoting activities for new and existing programs Provide financial analysis related to customer programs and commercial performance Analyze financial results and provide leadership with insights on trends and business drivers Partner with leadership to support financial planning and operational strategy Business Unit Controller Requirements 5+ years of experience in commercial finance, program finance, or FP&A Manufacturing industry experience required (automotive strongly preferred) Strong forecasting and financial modeling experience Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including Sales and Engineering Costing and quoting experience within a manufacturing environment preferred Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills•UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit and tax teams.
