Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial services project finances. In this pivotal role, you will oversee budgeting, cost management, financial reporting, and compliance for complex infrastructure projects. Your expertise in construction management software and project scheduling will drive accurate financial planning and resource allocation. Responsibilities Manage and oversee all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, and other industry-standard tools to track project costs, schedules, and resource allocations. Coordinate with project managers and teams to develop accurate project schedules and ensure alignment with budgets and timelines. Monitor construction regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations. Lead project cost analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making processes. Supervise finance teams responsible for managing project budgets, invoices, change orders, and procurement documentation. Collaborate with project leadership to optimize construction plans, schematics, and schedules for efficiency and profitability. Ensure timely completion of all financial documentation including project schedules, reports, and audits. Maintain comprehensive records of construction plans, schedules, budgets, and regulatory compliance documentation. Drive continuous improvement in construction project management practices through effective team leadership and process optimization. Requirements Proven experience managing finances within the construction industry, particularly with complex infrastructure or commercial projects. Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 (Primavera), Prolog (Primavera P6), Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and related tools. Strong understanding of construction estimating, scheduling coordination, project management principles, and regulatory compliance standards. Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a construction management role with excellent leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel for detailed data analysis and reporting. Hands-on experience with construction site operations and understanding of construction plans and schematics. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively. Knowledge of construction regulations applicable to infrastructure development is highly desirable. $89,800.00 - $109,000.00 per year
