Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our accounting processes. In this pivotal role, you will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls while collaborating closely with project teams to support distribution management and project execution. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in finance, exceptional leadership skills, and proficiency with industry-specific software to drive operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the financial health of our organization while working in a fast-paced, construction-focused environment. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for multiple construction projects. Oversee project accounting processes, ensuring accurate tracking of costs, revenues, and change orders aligned with project schedules. Collaborate with project managers and site teams to monitor project progress and provide financial insights that support decision-making. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to construction finance. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Civil 3D to track project performance and generate detailed reports. Review and approve contracts, change orders, and procurement documents to safeguard company interests. Lead internal audits and implement robust internal controls to maintain financial integrity across all operations. Skills Extensive experience with construction estimating, project scheduling, and construction management software tools including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and Schematics. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction site operations. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills. Deep knowledge of contracts management and construction law principles. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively. Proficiency in project management methodologies specific to the construction industry. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and stakeholder engagement. $96,489.13 - $155,125.45 per year
