Position Overview:
Secure Financial Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to join our team. The Director of Finance will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing financial performance, and providing strategic guidance to senior management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive financial expertise, and a passion for driving organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the finance department, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, including analysis of financial performance, identification of risks and opportunities, and recommendations for improvement. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and present financial results to stakeholders. Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation to optimize financial performance and support business objectives. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive cross-functional initiatives. Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decision-making and mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA is required. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, particularly in the financial services industry. Proven track record of strategic financial planning, analysis, and execution. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities. Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
