This position provides oversight to the day to day activities of the finance team at each site/plant and ensures the companies finance function is organized and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts. This is as corporate position.Essential Accountabilities:
The position incumbent ensures, that Management Reporting to include: Financial Management reporting for the organization as require. Ensure financial management reporting and processes are in place. Prepare a monthly Management Reporting Package. Present monthly and year-to-date reporting of financials with accompanying analysis of results. Report performance to budget and forecast to plan and assist in actions to alter business performance.Budgeting and Financial Modeling:
Lead the annual business plan development and budgeting process. Lead the monthly and quarterly outlook process. Lead financial modelling and analysis to support the development of long term strategic initiatives and plans. Manage, develop and train plant controllers responsible for plant controlling. Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.Secondary Accountabilities:
The position incumbent ensures, that Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements. Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements. Quality- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all EETAM polices related to TS16949 and
ISO 14001
; looks for way to improve and promote quality. Other duties as assigned.Requirement Profile:
Professional Background / Basic Qualification /Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Finance or Accounting. Requires a minimum 5 to 7 years' experience controlling experience for an automotive supplier. Customer tooling, SAP, and prototype experience as it related to controlling. Two years' experience managing at least 5 + employees. Will manage accountants, financial analyst, cost estimators, etc.) Billion dollar industry experience, preferably automotive. Knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, etc. Extensive SAP experience related to accounting modules. Ability to travel domestically by car or plane. To perform this job successfully, an individual should be very strong Microsoft Office especially MS Excel.Technical Expertise:
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence. Working Conditions:
This position involves working in an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
