As a Operations Financial Controller, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Distribution Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Kansas City, MO (on-site) What's the Job? Develop and manage budgets for the distribution center, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Conduct regular financial analysis to assess the performance of distribution operations, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions. Monitor distribution-related costs, analyze cost drivers, and implement cost-saving strategies to optimize the distribution process. Collaborate with the distribution team to manage inventory levels effectively, minimizing carrying costs while ensuring product availability. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements for distribution operations. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in distribution or logistics. Strong financial analysis and modeling skills. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Experience in SAP and/or
INFOR WMS.
