We are seeking a smart, dynamic, and creative Vice President, Corporate Partnerships to help the secure new and renew current marketing partnerships that serve as a critical revenue stream for the organization. The Vice President will be expected to create and expand corporate relationships at the C-suite and boardroom level and exhibit the solutions-based approach and high-touch professionalism and demeanor that properly reflect the culture of the organization. The Vice President, Corporate Partnerships will report to the Senior Vice President, Commercial, and will be responsible for leading all aspects of the department, including, but not limited to nurturing and retaining existing partner relationships, and creating and executing strategies to acquire and develop new partners as part of the org-wide business objectives. The successful candidate will be an experienced manager and sales leader, while infusing energy and creativity into the sales and marketing organization to develop teams who are equally committed to delivering results. The Vice President will also be challenged to collaborate with various departments to build assets and programs that boost our partners and fans as central figures in all that we do. What will you do? The Vice President, Corporate Partnerships is responsible for creating long term, meaningful, and customized corporate partnerships with leading regional, national, and international brands. Partnership Sales Lead a team focused on B2B relationships and optimizing net partnership revenue Drive new revenue opportunities nationally and locally to hit and surpass annual revenue goals Bring clarity and insight to a prospective partner's financial and promotional objectives by leveraging relevant analytics and metrics and utilizing these to demonstrate tangible ROI. Partnership Activation Lead all aspects of corporate partnership activation across partnership portfolio Manage relationships with key partners when necessary, serving as an executive point of contact for top-tier accounts Deliver best-in-class account management, service, and support for all corporate partners and ensure 100% fulfillment of all contractual obligations. Assist in developing an engagement platform to retain existing relationships and generate new business Convey a sophisticated understanding of analytics that express and enhance ROI to partners Contribute to event planning and execution of partner-sponsored events. Department Leadership Influence, develop and implement strategic goals, commission structures and other incentive programs that motivate staff to achieve revenue objectives Assist in developing asset guidelines and standards that help support our objectives Work in conjunction with Business Strategy & Analytics, Marketing, and all critical departments to develop compelling presentations that include measurable elements Coordinate with internal legal team to assure contract execution and with internal finance team to manage all accounts payables and receivables Develop staff by providing mentoring, direction, support, continual coaching, and performance feedback. Gameday responsibilities include activation, client entertainment, and contract fulfillment Conduct business during non-traditional hours, interact with clients and prospects during events What do you need to succeed? Required Skills/Abilities Proven track record of driving new and retaining existing revenue in the corporate partnerships space Thorough knowledge of the sports industry and market conditions Comfortable working with and presenting to senior executives Effective verbal, written and presentation skills Customer-focused, team player - ability to lead sales and activation staff Excellent business research and problem-solving skills Strong prospecting and leadership skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Ability to meet challenging sales objectives in a high profile, competitive marketplace Demonstrated ability to develop strategic activation programs Track record of providing exceptional customer service
