We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a manufacturing company in Charlotte, North Carolina. This Contract position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in financial management and accounting principles, particularly in cost accounting and inventory processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Oversee month-end closing activities and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Implement and maintain cost accounting processes to improve financial oversight.
• Supervise inventory accounting and ensure accurate tracking and valuation.
• Utilize SAP Business One to manage financial data and reporting efficiently.
• Collaborate with private equity stakeholders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
• Ensure all accounting procedures align with company policies and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
