Job Description

The Vice President of Finance & Accounting serves as a strategic and operational leader responsible for the financial integrity, sustainability, and stewardship of the YMCA. Reporting to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, this role leads all core finance and accounting functions while partnering with the CFO in supporting financial strategy, resource planning, and long term organizational sustainability. This leader ensures strong financial discipline while advancing the YM[CA's mission to serve the community through responsible, transparent, and forward-thinking financial practices. Qualifications:
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
  • 8-10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
  • Experience in nonprofit accounting is strongly preferred (YMCA or similar organization a plus)
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel (experience with data automation tools a plus)
  • Experience leading finance in a multi-site organization strongly preferred.
