Controller Tailored Adhesives | Hickory, NC About the Opportunity At Tailored Adhesives, we believe our employees are our greatest asset. We're looking for a hands-on Controller who enjoys partnering with leadership, improving processes, and helping drive the financial success of a growing organization. What You'll Do Oversee daily accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Payroll support. Manage month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring accurate financial reporting. Prepare monthly financial statements. Support manufacturing cost accounting, inventory reconciliation, and variance analysis. Partner with Operations and Executive Leadership to improve profitability and business performance. Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Assist with annual audits, tax preparation, and banking relationships. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and operational efficiencies. Lead and develop the accounting team while fostering a collaborative work environment. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with financial reporting and month-end close. Working knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management. ERP system experience and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. CPA or CMA designation is a plus but not required. Why Tailored Adhesives?
