JOB SUMMARY
Manage all accounting operations of Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, including A/P, A/R, Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Month End Close and Audit work. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting, and reporting business data. Prepares financials presentations for senior leadership, including the drivers and drains of results.

Certify all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and analyzed in accordance with U.S. GAPP and company policy.

Reconcile all physical inventory and maintain accuracy in transactions and records.

Assure that the company is in compliance with all federal, state and local legal requirements.

Implement and maintain a system of internal controls to ensure that the company's assets are adequately safeguarded.

Presents financial information, including actual-to-budget variances, to management members who have P&L responsibility. Support month-end and year-end close process. Organize financial benchmarking, including executive reporting of key performance indicators.

Complete all other tasks in a timely manner as assigned by management. Provides financial leadership and support to plant management and a key member of the leadership team
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting required, master's preferred. CPA or similar designation a plus. 6-8 years of progressive experience working in a fast-paced business environment with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably furniture/upholstery manufacturing.

Expert knowledge of regulations, best practices, governmental guidelines and tax laws that affect the company. Experience developing and leading annual budgeting process with multiple stakeholders in large and complex organizations. Highly proficient in financial analysis and model building. Highly flexible and adaptable, with operational growth, particularly with technology and systemsStrong communication and relationship building skills with a strong customer service orientation.
