Job Description:
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee all accounting and financial operations. This position will be responsible for financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting support, internal controls, and management of the company's ERP system. The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing accounting experience, a hands-on approach, and the ability to provide meaningful financial insights that support business decisions. Key Responsibilities Lead all month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare monthly financial statements, operational reports, and key performance metrics. Analyze financial results and provide variance analysis against budget and prior periods. Maintain the integrity of the balance sheet and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Establish, monitor, and improve internal controls and financial processes. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including: General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Payroll Inventory Accounting Fixed Assets Serve as the primary finance lead for ERP administration, optimization, and reporting. Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors. Partner with leadership to provide financial guidance and operational insights. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and business performance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. Manufacturing industry experience required. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory accounting. Thorough knowledge of
U.S. GAAP.
Proven experience managing month-end close and financial reporting processes. ERP experience required; NetSuite experience strongly preferred. CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Desired Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-directed with strong attention to detail. Collaborative approach with the ability to work across all levels of an organization.
