Confidential - Humanized HR hiring on behalf of a client About the Role We are seeking a hands-on accounting leader to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, strengthen internal controls, and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional ready to lead the accounting function, deliver accurate reporting, and improve operational discipline. What You Will Do Lead monthly close, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis. Oversee general ledger integrity, account reconciliations, and balance sheet accuracy. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, including weekly invoicing and professional AR follow-up. Responsible for cash management, cash forecasting, including optimizing working capital and line of credit usage. Oversee biweekly payroll administration (HRIS/payroll platform experience preferred) and ensure compliant payroll reporting and reconciliations. Maintain effective relationships with external partners (banking, accounting firm, insurance, and benefits partners). Improve documentation, controls, and cross-training of accounting staff. Support budgeting and forecasting with practical, business-focused analysis. Help optimize the company's Enterprise Software Suite pertaining to accounting workflows and work through the system with cross-functional teams. What We Are Looking For Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. 7-10 years of progressive accounting leadership experience (public accounting, corporate, or similar). Demonstrated expertise in account reconciliations, AP/AR, cash management, reporting, financial analysis, and financial audits. Strong Excel skills and confidence in Enterprise Software systems. Proven ability to train, document processes, and build reliable backup coverage. Professional communication style, strong follow-through, and meticulous attention to detail. Pay:

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
