You'll join an established accounting team with high standards for accuracy while taking ownership of day-to-day leadership, process improvement, and a variety of projects alongside the CFO. What You'll Do Lead the day-to-day activities of a small accounting team, providing direction, accountability, and support Oversee monthly close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting across multiple entities Improve accounting processes and identify opportunities to use systems and technology more effectively Help develop scalable procedures to support new locations, entities, and service offerings Partner closely with the CFO and other accounting leadership on financial reporting, analysis, and special projects Oversee accounting related to payroll, retirement plans, leases, allocations, and other operational areas Analyze financial information and help translate the numbers into meaningful business insights Support budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial planning Serve as a hands-on resource to the accounting team when complex issues arise What They're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Healthcare accounting experience strongly preferred CPA highly desired Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and month-end close Experience working within a multi-entity or growing organization is beneficial Strong Excel skills and an interest in improving systems and processes Previous leadership experience is helpful; however, we will consider someone ready to grow into greater people-management responsibility A hands-on, collaborative approach and willingness to dig into the details when needed Why This Opportunity?
