Position Overview We are seeking a manufacturing-focused Financial Controller to step into a newly created, hands-on role with a unique opportunity to build and shape our manufacturing finance capabilities from the ground up. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will act as a trusted financial partner to our Operations and Supply Chain teams, translating production performance into clear, actionable insights that support better decisions and stronger results. In the early phase, you will map and utilize existing data while establishing the core financial structures needed to support our manufacturing operations, working closely with the CFO to define the future direction of the function. As the plan is implemented, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening and evolving the digital landscape in and around the production lines, enabling performance data to be tracked, understood and converted into financial insights. To succeed in this role, you bring solid experience from manufacturing finance and a strong understanding of ERP structures in a production environment. You combine strong self-management with a solution-oriented mindset, driven by the ability to turn complexity into clear, value-adding insights while working collaboratively and with humility across departments. As part of the team, you will: Drive standard cost variance analysis and support root-cause understanding. Own financial production KPI reporting and provide data-driven decision support. Act as a financial partner to Operations and Supply Chain teams, translating forecasts into financial scenarios, and for highlighting data quality issues that prevent reliable analysis. Develop and maintain standard cost procedures and governance
  • understand and review suggested changes to make sure the labor, material, and overhead rates are accurate and that the financial impact is analyzed and made known to the teams.
Analyze and translate manufacturing performance (yield, scrap labor efficiency, etc.) into financial impact, and support with modelling the effect of different initiatives. Lead costing in the ERP and ensure financial oversight of the inventory management and valuation. Take lead within the finance team to ensure accurate production and SCM accruals during month-end close. Communicate the COGS variance impact on the Gross Profit bridge to various parts of the organization. Contribute to ad-hoc finance initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed. Your profile We are looking for you who have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. 4+ years with a broad financial exposure, including experience in manufacturing finance/controlling.
Strong expertise in:
Standard costing, Variance analysis, Inventory/WIP accounting, ERP manufacturing costing, Advanced Excel Experience working closely with operations and/or on the production floor. Strong understanding of data flows, process logic, and financial impacts across manufacturing. Analytical and detail-oriented skills; Understands importance of master data governance and how minor items affect the bigger picture performance. Fluency in English. It is seen as a plus if you have: Master's degree in Manufacturing Finance, Controlling, or related field. Experience with month-end closing in a manufacturing environment. Experience of working within and/or supporting Supply Chain. Familiarity with BI tools. Spanish language skill.
