Controller - Royce Global East Rutherford, NJ Royce Global, a family owned chemical company seeks an experienced hands-on Controller within a small office environment to lead our accounting team. What you'll do Perform daily accounting functions in our ERP system across two companies, driving toward an accurate and timely monthly close Record month-end journal entries and prepare financial reports Analyze and monitor all balance sheet and P&L accounts Calculate monthly sales commissions and manage cash reporting Prepare monthly reporting packages for bank review Handle quarterly Sales & Use, VAT, and Excise tax filings Evaluate contracts and support financial analysis and business operations Oversee AP, collections, and payroll (with related accounting entries) Manage HR functions: benefits, PTO tracking, Section 125, COBRA, and the annual review of employee benefits and corporate insurance What we are looking for in a candidate Bachelor's in Accounting 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a Controller role HR/payroll experience: payroll, PTO, health benefits, Section 125, COBRA Strong Excel skills and excellent written and verbal communication Ability to juggle priorities in a small-company environment NetSuite and import/export experience a plus About Royce Founded in 1929, Royce is a family-owned and operated chemical company now in it's fifth generation.
