Job Overview Toilets To Go is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting practices. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. Your expertise will drive accurate financial analysis, support strategic decision-making, and uphold regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in various accounting disciplines, eager to contribute to a mission-driven organization committed to transparency and excellence. 1. Financial Reporting & Close Process Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close (fast, accurate, PE-grade reporting) 2. Operational Finance & Margin Management Track and analyze route profitability (key in portable sanitation)

Monitor:

Cost per service / pickup Fuel, labor, and maintenance costs Asset utilization (toilets, trucks) Partner with ops to improve route density and efficiency Identify margin leakage (missed services, underpricing, idle assets) 3. Budgeting, Forecasting & FP&A Support Lead annual budget + rolling forecasts Build driver-based models : Units deployed Service frequency Seasonal demand Provide scenario analysis for PE sponsors (growth, pricing, acquisitions) 4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management Own cash forecasting and liquidity management

Optimize:

AR collections (critical in service businesses) Billing cycles and contract terms Monitor capex spend (toilet inventory, trucks, yards) Support compliance with debt covenants 5. Private Equity & Lender Reporting Prepare board decks and investor reports Track and report on key PE metrics : EBITDA & adjusted EBITDA Cash conversion Leverage ratios Support quality of earnings (QoE) and diligence processes 6. Systems, Controls & Process Improvement Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies Improve ERP / field service software integration

Automate:

Billing Route data capture Reporting workflows Build scalable processes for rapid growth or roll-ups 7. M&A Integration & Support Support acquisition accounting Lead post-acquisition integration : Chart of accounts alignment Reporting standardization Synergy tracking Assist in due diligence for new deals 8. Pricing & Contract Oversight Analyze and support pricing strategy

Review:

Long-term contracts Event-based pricing Municipal/commercial agreements Ensure pricing reflects service cost and margin targets 9. Team Leadership Manage accounting team (AP, AR, GL) Build a high-performance finance function Coordinate with: Operations Sales PE sponsors 10. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with: Tax (sales/use, property on assets) Environmental/service regulations impacting billing Oversee insurance, asset tracking, and liability exposure Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements Deliver management reporting packages with KPIs, variance analysis, and insights Ensure readiness for audits and lender reporting

Pay:

From $150,000.00 per year
