AUTOMOTIVE
Controller to join our finance team.

The Controller will play a pivotal role in overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards, and managing financial reporting processes. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities who can effectively manage budgets, cash flow, and financial software systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in public accounting and possess the expertise to drive financial performance while maintaining the integrity of financial data. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards in all financial reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review. Manage budgeting processes and provide variance analysis to support decision-making. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial records. Implement and maintain internal controls in accordance with SOX requirements. Oversee cash management activities to optimize liquidity and working capital. Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process to ensure compliance and accuracy. Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position. Strong knowledge of
GAAP, IFRS, SOX
compliance, and public accounting practices. Proficiency in financial software systems; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Demonstrated experience in budgeting, cash management, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
