Job Description

A great UHY client is seeking a Plant Controller to join their team. This role will serve as a key financial business partner to plant leadership, overseeing financial operations while driving cost control, performance analysis, and strategic initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The Plant Controller role is an onsite position. This is a permanent opportunity offering strong visibility to leadership, involvement in plant-level decision-making, and the ability to make a direct impact on operational and financial performance. Plant Controller Responsibilities Serve as the financial business partner to plant leadership, supporting operational and strategic decision-making Develop, manage, and analyze plant financial statements, budgets, and forecasts Prepare timely and accurate financial reports to track performance and support transformation initiatives Analyze variances between budget and actual results, identifying risks and opportunities Monitor and control plant costs including labor, production, and overhead expenses Lead cost reduction initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts Conduct detailed cost analysis and recommend strategies for optimization Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial targets with operational goals Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements Conduct financial reviews and support audit processes to maintain accuracy and integrity Act as a financial lead on plant initiatives, including process improvements and new projects Monitor and report on financial impact of operational and transformation efforts Partner with corporate finance and communicate insights across departments Perform additional duties as assigned Plant Controller Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required CPA or CMA certification preferred Proven experience as a Controller or similar leadership role in a manufacturing environment required Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting processes Experience supporting organizational change or transformation initiatives preferred Experience with ERP systems and financial software preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment•UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit and tax teams. Pay:
