Description:
Director of Finance Job Summary:
The
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing financial operations within the Treasurer's Office. This position is responsible for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring fiscal integrity and adherence to state and federal regulations. The Financial Director collaborates with the CFO and Assistant Treasurer to drive financial efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and support the district's mission of educational excellence for all Lakota students. Additionally, the Financial Director assists the Treasurer in supervising and administering the district's cash management and financial reporting functions, ensuring the proper management of financial resources related to payroll and benefits. The Director maintains strict confidentiality, provides world class customer service, answers all emails in a timely manner, and completes all Safe Schools training in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field. Treasurer's License preferred. Valid Ohio School Business Official or School Treasurer License (or ability to obtain). Five to seven (5-7) years of related experience, including supervisory responsibilities. Valid driver's license.
Working Conditions:
