In addition to leading accounting and financial reporting, this position provides leadership and oversight for the Supply Chain and Human Resource functions, making it a highly visible role with broad operational impact. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable closing the books, leading a high-performing accounting team, improving processes, and serving as a trusted advisor to business leadership. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Controller who enjoys partnering with operations and contributing beyond traditional accounting responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process. Prepare timely and accurate financials. Analyze operating results and explain key business drivers. Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. Maintain account reconciliations and balance sheet integrity. Manufacturing Finance Oversee standard costing and cost accounting. Analyze inventory valuation and reserves. Monitor manufacturing variances and operational KPIs. Partner with plant leadership to improve profitability and productivity. Internal Controls & Compliance Maintain a strong internal control environment. Coordinate annual financial audits. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Support tax reporting requirements. Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team. Establish and improve accounting processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives. Promote a culture of accountability and collaboration. Business Partnership Partner with operations, engineering, sales, and executive leadership. Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions. Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savings. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 8+ years of progressive accounting experience 5+ years of leadership experience Strong knowledge of
U.S. GAAP
