• Finance Apply Job Type Full-time Description Safeguard assets and ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all departments Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes and analysis of results Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage and mentor direct reports to achieve short- and long-term goals Develop, improve and issue timely monthly financial records and key metrics for CFO and other officers of the company Work closely with operations to support all departments Oversee the integrity of data in all systems. Manage daily cash flow and develop and provide projections of cash flow to the President and CFO Work with team on the budget process, including revenue, expenses and preparation of the budget Ensure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, products costing, etc. when necessary Assist CFO with managing commercial banking and borrowing relationships to facilitate an appropriate credit resource Learn ERP systems to support the team, dig into details, and resolve system-related accounting challenges. Interface with outside audit firms(s), banks and lessors Provide a visionary and leadership implementation role on behalf of Finance to all departments, creating a well-respected and sought-after department goal Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 5+ years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibility. Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines. Able to work well with senior executives and team, as well as mentor/lead other team members Proven record of managing and motivating a team with measurables and objectives Recent ERP system implementation experience a plus Up to 15% of travel required Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
