Controller - Blackwell /
Ponca City, OK Summary:

This position will work from our Blackwell office with intentions to be based ou of Ponca City eventually.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with management of the accounting processes ensuring proper posting of business activity Maintain inventory records and ensure proper recording Assist in filing and maintaining all required industry, state (multi state) and federal reporting, taxes, licensure and regulatory requirements Prepare financial statements to summarize and forecast the company's financial status Assist with tax returns and audits Assist in the preparation of various special reports as directed Monitor cash and credit balances, providing documentation to creditors as required to maintain relationships Provide back-up coverage to other accounting staff as needed in areas such as payroll, accounts payable, and fuel invoicing Ensure accounting practices, follow legal guidelines and established accounting principles Maintain strict confidentiality
Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Highly skilled in math, accounting and financial processes Expert knowledge of accounting and financial principles, regulations and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail oriented and highly organized with keen attention to detail Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees or organizations Experience with PDI / Pricebook is beneficial
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of Accounting/Finance experience College education in accounting or related field Advanced computer skills in Microsoft office and accounting software
Physical Requirements:
Position requires long periods of time sitting at a desk and occasionally walking and standing Requires light to moderate work with 20-pound lifting and carry limit Position will require frequent use of computers, dexterity of fingers and occasional stooping and bending
Benefits:
