Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate accounting and financial services, with a proven track record of effective leadership. This role is critical in guiding the financial planning, risk analysis, and treasury management functions of our organization. The Director of Finance will work closely with executive leadership to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the company. Duties Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, ensuring compliance with IAS and relevant regulations. Lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy development. Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies. Manage treasury operations, including cash flow management and investment strategies. Supervise account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. Oversee general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records. Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals through sound financial practices. Experience Proven experience in corporate accounting and financial services is required. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Strong knowledge of financial planning methodologies and risk analysis techniques. Familiarity with treasury management practices is essential. Proficiency in account reconciliation, accrual accounting, and general ledger reconciliation. A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are advantageous.
