This is a hands-on accounting role focused on overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while taking ownership of the month-end close process. Responsibilities Oversee Accounts Payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor statements, payments, and documentation. Oversee Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, cash application, collections support, and documentation. Review AP and AR aging reports, reconciliations, and outstanding issues. Prepare and review journal entries and support accurate general ledger activity. Take ownership of month-end close activities, including accruals, account reconciliations, close checklists, and reporting. Support account analysis, financial reporting, audits, and year-end requests. Assist with inventory, job costing, and other operational accounting needs as assigned. Support internal controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and procedures. Review and support the work of AP and AR team members. Provide accounting support across various functions as needed. Perform other accounting duties as assigned. Qualifications Senior-level accounting experience, including general ledger and full-cycle accounting. Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Experience with month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Experience reviewing the work of others or taking ownership of accounting processes preferred. Oil and gas, oilfield services, construction, or other job-cost environment experience is a strong plus. Experience with Acumatica is highly preferred but not required. Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and electronic document workflows. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. #FA123
