Controller

System One is assisting an established and growing Tulsa client with a search for a Controller. The Controller will work directly with the company president providing financial and operational information and recommendations. Competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:

Lead the financial operations team and oversee daily accounting activities, month-end close and financial and operational reporting Manage project costing process ensuring proper reporting of revenues, cost of sales, work-in-process, etc., by working with project managers and job supervisors. Help determine project profitability Own budgeting & forecasting and cash flow planning providing insights to leadership and project teams Ensure GAAP & tax compliance and serve as main liaison with CPAs, banks and bonding partners. Ensure proper internal controls are in place and being followed

Requirements:

BS in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred) Minimum of 5 - 10 years of accounting/finance experience, including supervisory and leadership experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and able to communicate to non-financial people Experience with job costing a plus Proficient with Excel and comfortable with computer systems Ability to review reports and identify anomalies, be curious Respectful attitude and works well with people at all levels

Salary:
