$125,000 - $160,000 per year Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the financial operations of our manufacturing facility in Yukon, Oklahoma. This position will serve as the key finance leader for the plant and will be responsible for manufacturing cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, U.S. tax compliance, fixed assets and CAPEX management, internal controls, and overall plant financial performance. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in U.S. manufacturing finance and is capable of independently managing plant-level financial operations while partnering closely with production, engineering, supply chain, procurement, and corporate management. Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities in accordance with
U.S. GAAP.
Prepare and review plant-level P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and other financial reports. Lead plant budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis. Analyze plant financial performance and provide financial insights and recommendations to management. Support internal audits, external audits, and corporate financial reporting requirements. Manufacturing Cost Accounting Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, including BOM costs, WIP, finished goods, scrap, yield variance, and manufacturing overhead allocation. Monitor production costs, manufacturing efficiency, yield fluctuations, and cost variances. Lead inventory valuation, cycle counts, inventory impairment assessments, and obsolete inventory reserve analysis. Analyze gross margins and production costs for both mass production and pilot production. Work with operations and engineering teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and margin improvement. Tax & Compliance Manage plant-level U.S. tax compliance, including property tax, sales and use tax, corporate income tax, and other applicable state and local tax requirements. Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, government agencies, and corporate finance teams as needed. Support documentation and financial reporting related to government incentives, tax abatements, and job creation credits. Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards, tax requirements, and company financial policies. Fixed Assets & CAPEX Oversee fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure management. Manage construction-in-progress (CWIP), project capitalization, asset capitalization, depreciation, disposal, and transfer. Maintain and review plant depreciation schedules, including MACRS depreciation. Support new production line CAPEX budgeting, project tracking, verification, and financial analysis. Monitor major equipment purchases and other manufacturing capital investments. Internal Controls & Financial Processes Establish and maintain plant-level financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Develop localized finance SOPs covering production, procurement, inventory, fixed assets, and vendor payments. Identify and manage financial risks related to equipment purchasing, cross-border transactions, inventory, and local operations. Improve financial processes and reporting systems as the plant expands. Business Partnership Serve as the primary finance business partner for plant management. Partner with production, engineering, supply chain, procurement, and administrative teams on financial and operational matters. Provide financial analysis related to production efficiency, cost fluctuations, profitability, capital investment, and operational decisions. Support management with financial data and analysis for strategic and operational decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Strong U.S. manufacturing finance experience required. Experience with manufacturing cost accounting and plant-level financial operations. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and internal controls. Understanding of U.S. federal, state, and local tax requirements applicable to manufacturing operations. Experience with fixed assets, CAPEX, CWIP capitalization, and depreciation. Strong Excel and financial modeling skills. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms. Ability to work independently and lead the finance function for a manufacturing facility. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications CPA, CMA, or CIA certification. Experience in solar, renewable energy, electronics, battery, equipment, or advanced manufacturing. Experience supporting a new manufacturing plant, production-line launch, or plant expansion. Experience with SAP and MES-to-ERP cost data reconciliation. Experience establishing financial processes, internal controls, or SOPs for a manufacturing operation. Experience working in an international or cross-border business environment.
Compensation Base Salary:
$125,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits and additional compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
