Controller

Jamie Benway with Robert Half is searching for a very talented and knowledgeable Controller for one of her well respected clients! This position is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role manages the accounting team, maintains internal controls, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. The Controller partners closely with leadership to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assetsPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP or applicable standardsDevelop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policiesManage the month-end and year-end close processesLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activitiesAnalyze financial data and provide insights to support business strategyCoordinate audits and work with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agenciesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulationsMonitor cash flow and financial performance metricsSupervise, mentor, and develop accounting staffPlease reach out to Jamie Benway with Robert Half to review this position.
