The Retail Lenders/Officers are responsible for acquiring new consumer customers, analyzing customer financials, preparing required loan documents, and making/recommending credit decisions while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Retail Lenders/Officers obtain necessary financial documents, follow-up on delinquent accounts, and assist others in the loan department as needed. Responsibilities
- Acquires and services consumer loan customers.
- Meets with potential customers to obtain information for loan application and to answer questions about the process.
- Prepares necessary loan documents.
- Makes credit loan decisions within lending limit.
- Recommends credit loan decisions for loans over the individual limit.
- Acquires deposit accounts and other services for their loan customers.
- Attends and participates in the Loan Review Committee.
- Attends and participates in ALM Committee as necessary.
- Assists with rate recommendations.
- Follows up with delinquent accounts and negotiates payment arrangements.
- Coordinates foreclosures and repossessions as necessary.
- Assists with advertising and promotion of loan and bank products and services.
- Attends and participates in monthly staff/officer meeting.
- Promotes The Neffs National Bank by developing and maintaining relationships with present and potential customers, businesses, and consumers in the community.
