Job Description

  • POSITION SUMMARY:
  • The Vice President, Corporate Actions Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the Corporate Actions & Tax operations at BNY.
This management position is integral to ensuring the seamless execution of corporate actions, aligning with BNY's strategic pillars of operational excellence and client focus. By fostering a culture of collaboration and responsibility, this role supports BNY's principles, promoting a client-centric approach and operational integrity. The Vice President will lead a team dedicated to maintaining high standards and achieving operational efficiency within the Corporate Actions & Tax function.
  • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage the Corporate Actions team by demonstrating expertise in corporate actions processes and ensuring timely and accurate execution of all related activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and compliance, supporting BNY's commitment to excellence.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure cohesive and integrated service delivery, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Analyze and interpret data to drive informed decision-making, contributing to process improvements and strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and addressing any issues with professionalism and expertise.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
  • EXPERIENCE
  • Typically 4-7 years of experience.
  • 0-1 years of management experience preferred.
  • SKILLS:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
