Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here This position reports to the Leader of United States operations and group CFO of a growing manufacturing company and is responsible for managing the accounting and financial planning and analysis for the company overall. The Controller will partner with functional leadership positions across the organization, focusing on all key accounting, financial, and operational aspects of the business. This position will focus not only on accurate and timely accounting but proactive financial analysis including key performance indicators that will drive continuous improvement and manage risk.
Major Responsibilities:
The Controller is responsible for all accounting and financial management in accordance with a public traded company and includes balance sheet and income statement management; financial planning and analysis; cash and liquidity management; contract performance and pricing analysis; forecasting; budgeting; and company asset and risk management. The Controller will utilize the company's ERP system and business intelligence tools to maximize financial visibility, accuracy, and efficiency across the organization. The Controller is also responsible for supporting timely and accurate quarterly reporting to relevant external parties along with monthly statements.
Education and Experience Requirements:
B.S. Degree in Accounting CPA/CMA highly preferred, not required Minimum +5 years in a Manufacturing environment Prior experience as an accounting manager or plant controller highly preferred Experience in implementing and managing ERP systems a must (experience with major ERP platforms a plus) Experience with multiple currencies highly preferred (corporate office is in Sweden. Experience with multiple companies/locations highly preferred Strong work ethic and initiative/commitment to getting the job done Ability to effectively communicate across the organization, including senior management along with external partners Highly experienced in Excel and Quickbooks. Strong analytical skills Effective presentation skills Solid insurance package included and huge growth potential.
