Job Description
Our financial client in Ridley Park Pa. is looking for a Controller to join their team. This is a direct hire, in office position that offers a salary up to 120k plus bonus, excellent benefits and family culture. The main responsibility of the Controller will be the financial integrity of the organization. Responsibilities will include the organizations daily financial operations, reporting and internal controls. The Controller will also ensure a timely and accurate month-end closing, corporate bank reconciliation, and supporting details of consolidated financial reports with proper general ledger branch accounting. Roles and Responsibilities Financial Reporting o Manage the preparation of balance sheet, income statement and related financial reports employing proper monthly and annual closing procedures. Provide guidance and direction to Staff Accountants. Regulatory reporting o Assist in the preparation of the quarterly financial statement report o Assist in financial statement request items during regulatory audits. Act as point person in preparation and coordination of annual financial statement audit including fulfilling data requests and supporting follow up questions. Enhance, monitor and execute financial safeguards to protect organizations assets and reduce risk. Assist management with operating budgets, cash flow and liquidity planning. Comply with the requirements of all policies and procedures including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering regulations as they relate to the position. Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements This position requires a BS in accounting, CPA is a plus, with 5 to 7 years of accounting experience. Position requires knowledge of MS Office at an intermediate to advanced level as well as experience reconciling and analyzing general ledger accounts. Also required are excellent oral and written communication skills, exceptional attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce accurate work, able to prioritize work in a high paced environment, and the ability and experience handling deadlines. #emersonrg
