This role begins as a Temp-to-Hire position—serving as an audition for future Senior Management as we scale our local operations and establish our presence. Because this is an expansion site, our team works collaboratively and wears multiple hats. We aren't looking for someone to fit into a rigid, one-size-fits-all box. Instead, we want to lean into your unique strengths and expertise —whether that is optimizing financial systems, driving strategic planning, refining payroll and accounts payable processes, or building scalable financial operations. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Payroll (AP/PR): Oversee full-cycle accounts payable and payroll operations with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.

Financial Controller Oversight:

Manage day-to-day accounting functions, internal controls, financial reporting, and budget tracking.

Growth & Strategy Collaboration:

Partner closely with executive leadership to develop strategies for expansion, operational efficiency, and financial forecasting.

Process Optimization:

Identify opportunities to improve workflows, implement new tools/software, and streamline financial reporting.

Cross-Functional Support:

Adapt quickly to business needs, collaborate across departments, and pitch in on operational tasks as needed in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

What We Look For Background:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA is a plus).

Experience:

proven experience managing core accounting functions (AP, PR, GL, financial reporting); Controller or Assistant Controller experience preferred.
