Director of Finance Key Qualifications:
Valid CPA license Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (Master's preferred) Minimum of 10 years in progressively senior finance roles Solid grasp of GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Proficiency with ERP platforms and Advanced Excel skills Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with executive teams and boards Experience supporting external reporting and regulatory environments is a plus Public company experience is preferred
Director of Finance Main Responsibilities:
Lead the annual budgeting, long-term planning, and forecasting processes Prepare detailed financial models, dashboards, and executive reports Analyze key performance indicators including revenue, expenses, cash flow, and capital deployment Collaborate with departments on financial planning, cost management, and operational efficiencies Support SEC filings, SOX compliance, and internal control initiatives Oversee cash flow, debt management, and banking relationships Drive improvements in financial systems, reporting, and workflows alongside IT Assist in capital projects, acquisitions, and regulatory filings Offer strategic insights and operational recommendations to executive leadership Uphold company policies, enhance internal controls, and maintain financial integrity Serve as a potential successor to the CFO through active engagement and leadership development
