Assistant Controller Compensation:
$130,000 – $150,000 +
Bonus Location:
Newington, CT area

Assistant Controller:
  • Oversee and manage monthly close across multiple entities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
  • Manage internal controls and annual assessments across US and Canadian operations
  • Partner with cross-functional leadership to improve processes and support business initiatives
  • Oversee treasury activities, including disbursements and wire approvals
  • Serve as primary liaison for internal and external audits Qualifications for the
Assistant Controller:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
  • 5–7 years of experience in public accounting (Manager level) or in a product-based industry (manufacturing/distribution)
  • Proven experience leading or managing accounting staff
