Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. We are seeking a highly organized, motivated accounting professional who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Compensation & Schedule Salary:
$45,000-$65,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Compensation above $60,000 will be considered for highly qualified candidates; senior-level accounting experience supports placement at the upper end of the range. Pay is issued semi monthly.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. This is an on-site position; remote work is not available. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts payable and reconcile credit card transactions. Maintain accurate vendor records and prepare and issue 1099s. Review employee expense submissions for accuracy and compliance with company policies. Manage accounts, prepare journal entries, and complete balance sheet reconciliations. Support human resources functions and employee benefits administration. Organize and prioritize daily responsibilities, adjusting to changing deadlines and business needs while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications & Technical Skills Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant work experience. Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Experience with QuickBooks and property management platforms such as AppFolio and ResMan. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer applications, including accurate typing and data entry. Employer-paid life insurance:
$25,000 in coverage. 401(k) retirement plan: Includes an employer match.
Paid holidays:
All federal holidays are paid days off, with the office closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Paid vacation:
One week after six months of employment and two weeks after one year. Company-provided laptop.
Bonus opportunities:
Christmas and other bonuses may be awarded at the companys discretion.
